A California Department of Education certified non-public special education day school, serves individuals with disabilities that struggle with learning and/or emotional challenges including; Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), and Other Health Impairments (OHI). Almansor partners with local districts, SELPAs, and charter schools to provide customized education and services. All students receive pre-vocational and vocational opportunities embedded throughout the program, and curriculum and instruction are available for students pursuing either the functional-skills-based Certificate of Completion or their High School Diploma.

Kindergarten – 22 years old
  • Small class sizes with 1:12 teacher to student ratio
  • ASPIRE Program for students with school phobia
  • Daily Physical Education (PE)
  • Adapted Physical Education (APE)
  • Student Counseling and Guidance Services (Mental Health Services)
  • Speech and Language Services (LAS)
  • Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • Physical Therapy (PT)
  • Case Management (Social Work Services)
  • Computer labs in each classroom
  • Transition Planning Services
  • Positive Behavioral Support
  • Multidisciplinary team design
  • Enrichment activities including art and music
  • On-campus work readiness training
  • Workability Program
  • Transportation to and from campus

To further meet each student’s unique needs, Almansor Academy partners with additional support service agencies, such as Regional Centers, Wrap-Around, Full-Service Project (FSP), local universities and colleges, and other qualified service providers.
